Supporting the Canadian video game ecosystem

Making games is difficult and presents a lot of challenges: financially, creatively, and more. Since launching the Ubisoft Indie Series in 2016, our studio has drawn on its extensive network and strong internal expertise to support local independent studios with creative, marketing and financial tools to help propel the development of their business.

Making Meaningful Progress on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

For Ubisoft, putting diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything we do means providing an environment where employees can thrive, building open-minded communities where players can connect, and creating games that reflect the diversity of the world we live in.

Sustaining the Studio and our Planet

Reducing our environmental impact is a huge and complex challenge that requires collective thinking and effort. Our global action plan implements active contributions towards global carbon neutrality, as well as raises awareness among team members, partners and players, and encourages positive action for the climate and environment.

Our employee resource groups

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are built around shared identities to foster and advance inclusion within our workplace and games. They provide space to share experiences and exchange resources, network, and create communities across our studios and offices worldwide.

Our studio is committed to building a more inclusive workplace and is proud to be co-creating this alongside our ERGs.

Executive Statement

I’ve worked alongside many different people and teams to define who we are as a studio. We want to make games we’re proud of, and be proud of how we make them and who we make them with.

We’ve started that journey with the Splinter Cell Remake and our work on Far Cry. We’ve also continued to build on our values and reshape the culture of our studio – to make it an inclusive place where every person knows that they belong.

Ubisoft Toronto has always been known for its experimentation and boldness. We want to keep it that way. We have a creative, collaborative and fun team, and incredible projects underway.

We’re really excited and hope you’ll join us as we define our next chapter.
